Lucy Forbes is a lawyer with extensive experience in civil appellate law, having handled all aspects of an appeal. She also provides motion practice and trial support to trial lawyers, including drafting post-verdict and post-judgment motions and jury charges. She is board certified in civil appellate law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Before starting her own practice, she worked as a trial associate at Baker Botts, as a staff attorney at the Fourteenth Court of Appeals, and as an appellate associate at Wright, Brown & Close.
Ms. Forbes graduated from Baylor Law School in 1998 in the top 9% of her class. She was the Managing Editor of the Baylor Law Review. She graduated in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology, and a minor in Chemistry, from the University of Houston, Main Campus.

Ms. Forbes is a 300-hour RYS Certified Yoga Instructor and teaches vinyasa yoga. She is also a runner, having run 14 marathons, including in Houston, Austin, Chicago, San Diego, San Francisco, Long Beach, Phoenix, and New York.
